I don't know about you, but my experience with conventional medical care has been less than positive. It seems to me there is no "one size fits all" cure for any ailment be it minor to serious. My definition of alternative medicine may include counseling and group therapy, to herbal remedies, physical work outs indoors and outdoors, meditation. Alternative medicine doctors could consist of acupuncture, spiritual readers and hands on healers. I believe it is not all conventional and that the medically trained often just try things to see if it works, if not they go on to try something else. I have seen many times the human spirit being left out of the healing equation. That is what alternative medicine is! I would like to see more conventional "authorities" work together with alternative medicine doctors to give a more overall care package. I believe alternative medicine health care gives the ailing party a sense of control over their illness. This leads to a better attitude which can only help in the healing process.
