Alternative medicine health care is definitely becoming more popular, and I think that there are many reasons for this. People are becoming more interested in prevention as opposed to cure and they are also growing tired of what conventional medicine has to offer. It seems that these days all conventional doctors do is dispense the prescription medicines manufactured by big pharmaceutical companies as a cure-all for every kind of ailment. By contrast alternative medicine doctors look for the cause of the symptoms and advise lifestyle changes instead of merely throwing drugs at their patients
I am becoming more interested in alternative medicine health care because I would rather protect myself from ailments than take prescription medication to fix them. What frustrates me most is that many of the health supplements that I know work to help keep me well have a little statement on the bottle that says that they have not been evaluated by the FDA. Oddly enough many of the drugs that have been evaluated by the FDA have all kinds of unpleasant symptoms that could make you feel worse than they did before you started taking the medication. Alternative medicine health care and natural supplements appeal to me more everyday because conventional medicine and big pharmaceutical companies stink of greed and corruption.
