Complementary and Alternative Medicine Offer Cures for Sensitive Systems. |

One of the great paradoxes of modern medicine is that many people with chronic conditions are either allergic or highly sensitive to the pharmaceutical drugs that offer cures. Those people either have to suffer the side effects of the drugs they're prescribed by their doctors, or they need to seek help from complementary and alternative medicine. The definition of alternative medicine is that it doesn't always follow standard and accepted medical practice, but in many cases, an alternative medicine doctor can provide cures that a regular doctor can't, and there probably won't be any side effects, either. Alternative medicine health care encompasses such varied fields as naturopothy, chiropractic care, accupuncture, massage, aromatherapy, herbal medicines, and some other types of cures that probably seem far out to most people. However, scientific study of techniques like accupuncture have shown that they can offer real relief to chronic pain and other chronic disease conditions. One of the nice things about accupuncture is that it has no negative side effects like you can have from pharmaceuticals. Personally, I think the best type of medical treatment is one that uses the best parts of regular Western medicine and complementary and alternative medicine. |
