I Practice Alternative Medicine Health Care Every Day |

I am not an alternative medicine doctor. Yet I still practice alternative medicine health care every day of my life because I cook nutritious meals using fresh whole ingredients including herbs and spices every day. I use these ingredients predominantly because they add great flavor to food. However I learned that culinary herbs and spices have been used as a part of alternative medicine health care for several hundred years and wise women have always known about them. When I cook with these herbs and spices I am following in the footsteps of these women. The culinary herbs and spices I cook with can be classified as alternative medicine health care because they keep the people in my family fit and healthy. Since we do not generally get sick there is no need to visit a conventional doctor. What culinary herbs and spices do I use in my cooking? The list is long and includes things like turmeric, red cayenne pepper, fresh ginger, garlic, rosemary, basil, oregano, chili peppers, thyme, fennel, marjoram, cilantro, parsley and sage, to name but a few. I grow many of these products in my garden during the summer months.
