What is Alternative Medicine without Choices? |

Alternative medicine health care has become more important in my life because of the cost of standard health insurance. I recently graduated college, around 9 months ago and have since been tossed into the real world. Paying for health care is one of those things I never thought about until the monthly bill was staring me in the face. I never knew how expensive just OK coverage could be. Growing up, my mom was a teacher so all of the school district’s benefits filtered down to my brother and me. After graduating school, those benefits no longer applied to me. I’m not someone who gets sick very often but there is maybe that one or two times a year when going to the doctor’s makes sense.
I have been battling with eczema my whole life and it wasn’t until I took the alternative medicine health care route that things turned for the better. Eczema is not a big deal, more annoying then anything else. After speaking with a mid 30’s alternative medicine doctor in his tidy office lobby, I was turned onto a regiment of allergy pills and flax seed oil. Combined these two over the counter prescriptions have really worked. The alternative medicine doctor was actually nice enough to give his recommendation without any need for payment. He had seen similar situations before and the couple minutes it took him to list the complementary and alternative medicine choices was no hassle. I was extremely grateful, thanked him and have been happy since.
